Join us this bank May bank holiday weekend (4th-6th May 2019) for some caterpillar fun. The ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ was, and still is a favourite book for adults and children alike. With this in mind and to help celebrate its 50th birthday we will have some caterpillar themed activities in the aquarium throughout the weekend.

• Take part in our ‘ Very Hungry Caterpillar’ quiz trail, find the fruit stamps and help keep the caterpillar fed.
• Enjoy some caterpillar and butterfly themed colouring at the craft table.
• Learn about the life cycle of the caterpillar
• Meet bugs at the daily animal handling sessions.
• Plus, a full range of ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar merchandise will be on sale in our gift shop!
